We believe in addressing the mental and emotional state of your dog, instead of just focusing on obedience. Our goal is to teach your dog how to learn and communicate, and help you learn how to train your dog!

"I cannot say enough amazing things about Justine and Smokey Oaks K9!! We have a now almost 11 monh old Corgi who had started showing Resource Guarding behaviors around 6 months. Knowing we needed to get a handle on it sooner rather than later, I reached out to Smokey Oaks K9. Justine & Christian came out to do the initial evaluation.
We ended up doing a 2 week board & train in September. She worked on his resource guarding as well as leash manners, drilling basic obedience, being comfortable around other dogs and more!! Justine trained us when we went to pick up Murray so that we could stay consistent with his training. HUGE difference from drop off to pick up!! He was able to travel with us for a weekend with friends and their dogs. Justine always answers my questions and concerns in a timely manner and is full of knowledge and advice.
